How do fans get to the Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof?

Traffic situation in Oberhof:
There are no parking facilities in Oberhof for visitors arriving individually. We ask fans who want to travel with their own vehicle to use the P+R parking lots in the area with connected shuttle service or to arrive with the regular public transport (bus and train). All options are listed below.
On competition days, the state road L1128 will be closed between the exit of Oberhof in the direction of Grenzadler and the Café Kanzlersgrund from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Feb. 19, 2023: 8 p.m. ). On training days (February 6, 2023, February 7, 2023, February 9, 2023, February 13, 2023, and February 17, 2023), this section will be closed from 8 a.m. to approximately 6 p.m. each day. The closures are controlled by the police.
Shuttle buses will run between the town of Oberhof (Gräfenrodaer Straße on-demand stop) and the ARENA am Rennsteig (Grenzadler).
