Award ceremony
The medals of the final competitions – the mass starts of the men and women on Sunday, 19 February 2023 – will be presented in the ARENA am Rennsteig. There, the BMW IBU World Championships Biathlon 2023 in Oberhof will come to a festive end.
Two hours before the opening ceremony and the award ceremonies, the warm-up of the Freistaat Thüringen starts at the Medal Plaza in the Oberhofer Kurpark. The country relies on a colourful, atmospheric programme. Messe Erfurt is responsible for the implementation.
